FAU exhibits perplexing look at intelligent design via Sun Sentinel

The Intelligent Design Project was a traveling exhibition that humorously and critically interrogates this debated contemporary philosophy. The exhibition began with a core element that employed historical and contemporary graphic images to visually introduce the Intelligent Design theory/theme. Presenting institutions collaborate with participating artists and co-curator(s) Michael Zansky and D. Dominick Lombardi who combined their work with other artists who illuminate and/or question the premises of Intelligent Design."

Guest Curator, Adrienne Rose Gionta, a recent FAU Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate selected an additional group of contemporary artists whose works explore elements of recollection, creation, evolution and design that further enrich the exhibition’s theme. Gionta has also organized a series of public programs including FAU faculty from various disciplines to further complement this exhibition. Watch this page and the University Galleries home page for a link to a listing of the programs.

Artists in the Exhibition: Deborah Aschheim, Andy Holtin, Kent Hovind, D. Dominick Lombardi, Loretta Lux, Yuri Makoveychuk, Rick Newton, Michael Rees, Samantha Salzinger, Henry Sanchez, Jen Stark, TODT, and Michael Zansky.
